March Writing Goals Update

Here’s what I accomplished in March.

If You Didn’t Like The Way The Election Turned Out

I finished typing the first draft yesterday and I know what direction I want the 2nd draft to go in. I have more research to do and I have no idea of a market yet.

My goal for April is to get the 2nd draft typed and have a market in mind to query.

5 Minute Memoir

I rewrote and retyped this essay. I’m not happy with it. I like the beginning and ending, but I’m not happy with the middle. It doesn’t feel right. It needs another revision or two before it’s ready to submit.

My goal for April is to rewrite and retype. Read 5 Minute Memoirs from previous issues. Rewrite and retype.

100 Items In 30 Days

I wrote the first draft, but I need to type it. I didn’t read any books about Kindle publishing.

My goal for April is to type the 1st draft and figure out layout and chapters. Read one Kindle publishing book. Work on other books in the series.

I’m happy with what I accomplished this month. I’m making progress toward my goals and that is what matters.
