NaNoWriMo Update

I finished typing the first draft of Jane, the novel I started writing in November for NaNoWriMo, a couple of weeks ago.

My word  count was 12,801.

My page count was 111.

The goal word count was 50,000.

I was 37,199 words short.

You know what?

I’m ok with it.

I’m proud of myself for finishing.

I’m happy with the word count.  It gives me a starting point and I know what direction I want to go in.

What a good place to be.
